Kazakhstan Parliament sets May 7 Defender of the Fatherland Day

Parliament adopted a law setting 7th of May Defender of the Fatherland Day, a public holiday in Kazakhstan.

Sergei Gromov, Deputy Defense Minister, says adoption of the law will not result in additional expenses.

In accordance with Article 5 of the Law on Holidays in Kazakhstan, May 7 will be a day off.
